TEDxRamallah is an event that took place on 16 April 2011. It was attended by 2600 people in 23 cities around the world. The event showcased inspiration of Palestine. Speakers spoke from Bethlehem, Beirut and Amman due to the limitation of access into Palestine.
This video is a collection of reactions by people who watched TEDxRamallah from outside Palestine. This is only a very small sample of how TEDxRamallah, a single day event, was able to connect people to Palestine and have a positive impact on perceptions from places as close as Lebanon and Saudi.

About TEDx: In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-LIKE experience. Our event is called TEDxRamallah, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxRamallah event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
