Palestinian refugee children in Lebanon are being trained to use cameras as a way for them to document their lives in the refugee camps and express themselves through photography.

A National Campaign has been launched during the International Women day in Lebanon on March 8 2011, under the premises of  the first lady of Lebanon and the President of the National Commission of  Lebanese Women, Ms Wafa’ Sleiman. The Campaign aims to fulfill equality between women and men in the Lebanese laws, especially the laws that have an economical impact on women;

In recent years, car bombs, military invasions, terrorist attacks and internal strife have contributed to making Lebanon one of the most dangerous countries in the world. Judging from newspaper headlines, Lebanon constantly seems on the verge of another civil war.
