June, 2011. Sulaimani, Iraqi Kurdistan. Children at the Qalawa camp for internally displaced persons perform a puppet show for spectators with the help of the NGO Heartland Alliance. The short performance was performed in Arabic and entitled "Akbar and the huge carrot. The children helped design and create their own costumes and the short show was inspirational.

Zama is a very little and poor tunisian village. The first impression I had in visiting it is that time has been forgotten. Yet these children believe in a better future. After school, they come here to sit and rebuild the world. They share their dreams and hopes, confident that they will one day achieve them all.

لماذا لايتم استخدام بدائل للحد من العنف ضد المرأة .. كالتوعية وابراز دورها الفاعل في المجتمع وغيرها التي قد تساهم في وضع حد لهذة المشكلة بدلا من سن القوانين التى قد لا تجدي نفعاً في ضل غياب الوعي...
ليس من الضروري إقناع الشخص الأخر ،ولكن المهم هو التفهم لرأي الأخر وإيصال الفكرة التي أريد بكل إحترام وبطريقة حضارية بدون ممارسة ما يعرف بالإرهاب الفكري
