This film is about "Understanding Program" , the program was launched in October 2009 by Adyan foundation, as an ambitious pilot experience in Cross-Cultural education. Today, we are proud to present it to you as a success story, a stimulating adventure and a revolutionary potential for the academic world.

The objectives of the program are to:
Promote the “Academia social responsibility”
Develop the Students“cognitive mobility”
Empower the Teachers and Trainers in their “intercultural and virtual teaching capacities”

This short video was created by Joumana al Jabri. Discussions with Ramzi Jaber and others from the TEDxRamallah team influenced the creation of this video.

TEDxRamallah is an event that took place on 16 April 2011. It was attended by 2600 people in 23 cities around the world. The event showcased inspiration of Palestine. Speakers spoke from Bethlehem, Beirut and Amman due to the limitation of access into Palestine.
